In reflecting about life and mulling through a few thoughts it has become clear that the childish views of rebelling againgst routines, structures, systems and rules is self defeating. These systems were put in place to create or produce a particular result. Its just like a manufacturing plant contructed andd fitted with machinery operating with detailed specifications so as to consistently produce an accurate, expected result.
The child like tendency of questioning everything can be time consuming and often times redundant. Its an immature behaviour to be asking “why?” about everything. It is important as a child develops but not always necessary for an educated mature adult. There are certain absolutes that are truths which cannot be changed. They are called universal laws. Such as the law of gravity, energy, inertia etc. It is always important and in ones best interest to respect these laws.
Effective, accurate systems and procedures once followed will always produce a guaranteed result. Deviations from the original specifications that do not fit into the regular process often times produce unwanted, broken, defective results. Compare ones life to the manufacturing process and the responsibility becomes clear on whom the results are dependent on.
If defective, unwanted results are consistent; it simply means a stage of the process needs to be reviewed, altered and corrected. It could also mean that the entire process needs to be remodelled, restructured, recreated. One could also be involved in systems that were not built to produce great results but only mediocre ones. It could be relationships, work, church, community, family.
It is the individuals responsibility to assess every current process in their life and audit the results. Whatever areas revealed by the audit to be inefficient should be changed immediately. It has been said that insanity is doing the same things and expecting a different result.
